Many people have asked about statuses so I will give updates here.
Not much to tell other than the tumor is the size of a golf ball. Still waiting for the biopsy results.
Greg (brother-in-law) is taking a leave of absence from work since they think the surgery/recovery will be 4-8 weeks.
Laurelle is in good spirits since she is getting nutrition through her I.V, and has some energy back. Not having to take care of the kids and just relaxing in bed is assisting with that.
She should be transferred out of the ER soon and into a real room. She has been in the ER for two days now. Oh, it's Joseph Brant Memorial Hospital in Burlington.
My friend Andrea has been a blessing- and has lent me her car... just in case. She is driving her late father's car in the meantime. I have the best friends ever. I don't know what I would do without them. So, I am on standby until I need to get my ass to Burlington for the surgery.
(wow, I got through that entry without cursing...)

I'm sorry to hear about your sister Meredith. It's too bad it wasn't diagnosed sooner, especially considering how bad she was feeling. I don't know if it's that our doctors are overworked or what, but it seems like they're often missing things that are really obvious and dismissing patient's complaints as "nothing."
