Got a job 5 floors up from where I used to work. Still the hospital - different department, working for new scientists, but doing the same thing. Can't complain. Had to take a wee bit of a pay cut but hell, I still have a job. This was a big relief.
Other excitement: I found my gazelles! Well, my friend Andrea did at least. After 10 years of searching, she finally found them for me at a place called Si Vous Play Sports. You can't imagine the excitement on my face when she showed me the purchase. So, so, so excited. Can't wait to wear them.
Actually, I realized how insignificant it is as well. You can have short hair, long hair, no hair. No one cares. No one notices. They may notice something is different but they really can't place it.
Anyhow, I much prefer the short do.
Christmas is coming, and to be truthful, I am not looking forward to it. Every year it gets more lonely. All of the family memories come to mind and it's more difficult to enjoy. I'm not going to whine about it though because it's not going to make a difference. All I can say is that life is different now and we just have to make the best of it.

I'm happy you found a good job to replace your old one (even though it's not in London... boo!). I think your haircut looks awesome too!
:)
Nice shoes.
