Assortment of Tings, Mahn

It's been a while since my last blog. Wow. Time flies. I am on my March break at work so I have really enjoyed this time off to clear my head.

I went to Ottawa for a 3 day weekend during the wickedest snowstorm of the year. I won an overnight at a hotel so Andrea and I went to gallivant. We spent an extra night there too. I like Ottawa - it's a beautiful city. We also spent a day shopping in Buffalo. I was successful in NOT buying any shoes or jackets (my weaknesses). Instead, I bought 2 new bras that actually FIT me. And a pair of jeans. I bought 2 bras a few weeks ago as well. I learned that I was wearing the wrong size this whole time. I'm less of a cup and more around. Too much info? Now my girls feel as snug as a bug in a rug.

I had a deep tissue massage. I hurt for 2 days afterward because I was one big knot. My massage therapist is a GOD. I love her.

Saw Laurelle and the family on the way to Buffalo. Bought them McDonald's for lunch and hung for an hour or so. She's doing as well as can be expected. Results came back and all organs are free and clear - but one lymph node is still affected. She has an appointment with the oncologist on Monday to find out what the next course of action will be. I'm hoping they choose to remove it so that she doesn't have to worry about it. She is still really thin, as her appetite isn't back yet. I just want to fatten her up a bit. My mom has been there for a week or two so that makes me feel more comfortable. The kids are enjoying her and I even saw pictures of Joanie making snow angels with them outside! So awesome.

A month or so ago I joined eHarmony....and have been trying to correspond with some guys I have been matched with. I will have to make more of an effort to meet them if I want to be successful in this venture. Sounds so romantic eh?

And that, my friends, concludes the last 2 weeks.
